John and his team were awesome from the bidding process to the finish on a project back in April of 2019. It was a residential project that included the removal of the entire basement ceiling (about 900 sq feet). He was careful about following the state’s regulations. The project ended up taking longer, and the ceiling was significantly heavier than he thought. I remember him commenting that this was the hardest jobs (or one of the hardest jobs) he had done up until that point. Despite this he honored his original bid. I liked that John gave the bid, and was also on site working with his team. Based on my experience I highly recommend this company.

These guys are awesome!! John is great at reassuring and answering all of your questions. We had them come and remove a popcorn ceiling from my mom’s house last year. I was concerned about having it removed for safety issues with asbestos. But they did an amazing and safe job removing it. They also removed a vinyl floor with asbestos–again great job. I felt the cost was very reasonable. A really big plus–if they were going to be late, they let me know!

We thought our popcorn ceilings were asbestos. I called John, and he was able to give me some pricing information over the phone, which was great. He came out the very next day, and gave me a bid that day. Super fast. He encouraged me to wait for the asbestos test to come back, even though I expected it to come back positive for asbestos. Well I’m glad i waited, as the test came back negative. A very happy surprise for me! It turns out I don’t need their services, but I highly recommend Asbestos Abatement of Utah. Very honest, fast, and inexpensive. (His bid to remove the asbestos completely was less than a bid I got to put drywall over the popcorn ceiling.)

These guys were Pros, I had mold and asbestos in my basement, I was amazed at how quickly they had containment and began their work. The asbestos was a smaller job in my utility-furnace room, but the shower was a giant two person shower, a tile and backer board tear out. All was completed within 5 hours and they left my home incredibly clean. I am now mold and asbestos free and have great peace of mind. I would recommend this crew to anyone out there who has mold or asbestos issues…

We had about 1500 square feet of popcorn ceiling removed. They did a fantastic job, exceptionally tidy and safe. I had even forgotten to tear out some old moulding in a small part of the house that had asbestos underneath but they took care of it. I was so relieved. I received quotes from several places in the valley and they were very competitive but what really set them apart was their professionalism and service.

Asbestos Abatement of Utah could not be more helpful and kind. They referred me to someone (Jeremy Johnson EnviroSpec LLC) to have the asbestos tested (he came out the day I called) and gave me instructions on removal (it was less than 1%) at no cost. I really appreciate companies like this and will be passing the word along to anyone I know who needs asbestos abatement!

These folks removed the popcorn ceilings from my house. They were very professional and courteous. They did a wonderful job and we’d recommend them to anyone.

In a world where everyone is out to make a buck, John really took the time to educate me about my options and safety concerns, even though it meant perhaps not making as much money. As we haven’t proceeded yet with removal, I would highly recommend this company due to their honest approach.
